The Bower Grove library is a central hub for the school, used by both junior and senior pupils. It has an array of fiction and non-fiction texts for pupils to enjoy across a range of abilities, from reception to young adult. As a community, we value reading as imperative to a child's development and embed opportunities to read across all facets of the school.

Pupils all have individual log-in details so that they may use the school's interactive e-catalogue to browse and book out their selected title. This link will take you to our catalogue:

Library Club

Library Club runs twice a week for Years 7-11 and all junior classes have one mandatory period per week in the timetable, designated to give pupils the opportunity to read for pleasure.

Reading Ambassadors

Bower Grove also have Reading Ambassadors who are inspirational pupils that have demonstrated a love of and talent for reading. These pupils are exemplary, working to ensure the library runs effectively and efficiently, whilst also peer mentoring junior pupils with the aim of instilling the same passion and skill for reading as they have shown.

KCC Library

Pupils can also become a member of the online KCC library, using the following link: Pupils can become a member for free and browse thousands of e-books, e-magazines and audiobooks.
