IAG

Information, advice and guidance (IAG) is an umbrella term for support that helps pupils make informed choices about education options.

As a school, we start encouraging and supporting our pupils to consider their options once they get to year 9.

In year 10, IAG meetings are held in school or online with a level 6 qualified careers advisor (from the Education Development trust). These meetings are supported by our very own transitional coordinator.

We consider these meetings to be really important in giving our year 10 pupils guidance and support about the choices available to them.

Parents, guardians and carers are an integral part of this process and invited to attend.

You will be informed of the dates. Alternatively, contact the school office for more information.

We try to arrange these meetings before annual reviews to help with transition and placements.
