Careers Education

Pupils at Bower Grove School receive a comprehensive careers education programme including work experience placements during year 10 and year 11. Work Experience -

View the slides below to see some examples of our pupils engaging with work experience opportunities. 

 

Visits

Pupils get the opportunity to go and visit Post-16 providers. For example Midkent College. (see below)

 

This experience gives them the opportunity to take part in discussions and ask questions with staff and lecturers.

The pupils get to have a tour of the site and can gain an appreciation of what qualifications and training is needed to be accepted on different courses.

They will often get to see ex Bower Grove pupils who are currently studying at that provision.
