PUPIL PREMIUM & YEAR 7 CATCHUP

Pupil Premium is a payment from the Government to schools which is in addition to the school budget.  The money is allocated to the school to support children who are from low income families who:-

Year 7 Catch-up Funding 2016/17

 

The Year 7 Catch-Up funding has been allocated to facilitate the teaching of English and Maths in smaller groups.  These subjects are taught in 3 ability groups in Year 7 enabling targeted support and differentiation.  Pupil progress data demonstrates good rates of pupil progress in Year 7 in English and Maths.
